Bruce Watson Reads From LIGHT
Join us Tuesday, May 14 at 7:00 at the Florence Civic Center, for the launch of Bruce Watson’s book Light: A Radiant History from Creation to the Quantum Age. We will be reveling in this new title from Levellers Press and celebrating the 100th anniversary of the May 1919 total solar eclipse (pictured at left); data from an Antarctic expedition measuring the eclipse confirmed Einstein’s predictions of light bending and calculations in his Theory of General Relativity.
